Drift City-Mittron Madness
Drift City (Skid Rush in the original version) is a Korean-developed nonlinear driving and GT-style Racing MMORPG in which players play the role of drivers for the Organization of Mittron Development, or OMD for short.
The game takes place in the near future, during a worldwide oil shortage, where a material dubbed Mittron is discovered on an island in the North Pacific, where the Organization for Mittron Development (OMD) is set up to manage the resource. Mittron quickly becomes the preferred fuel for transportation, with cars using it running for longer than their petrol-fueled counterparts, with less emissions, and greater speed
However, unmanned 'HUVs' (High-Tech Unmanned Vehicles) begin to appear around the island, terrorizing the local population, leaving them unable to walk outside for fear of attack. As a result, the OMD begins drafting in professional drivers in order to destroy the HUVs, and uncover the mystery behind their sudden appearance.
